While discussions began with concepts from the program modules, they quickly evolved into personal and meaningful exchanges of ideas. Students recognized that the Global Gurus approached their mentoring seriously, shared professional and life experiences, offered 'profound advice', and posed thought-provoking questions that encouraged students to broaden their horizons. Students characterized the mentoring experience as 'refreshing', unlike any interaction possible in a traditional classroom."
